YEC carries out manufacturing and sales at five locations throughout Japan, the United States and China.

YEC is based in Japan and has a total of seven manufacturing and sales bases, including bases in the United States and China.
Our overseas presence is particularly strong in China, where production needs are continually growing. In 1993, we established the Hong Kong branch, and in Guangzhou, production began at our first Chinese plant in 1994. In 2003, we transferred operations to a new plant, where comprehensive production including casting, molding and processing continues today.
As technological development in the automotive field continues at a dramatic pace, Yamaguchi Electric is looking beyond the domestic market of Japan to expand business with products for the USA and Europe, and ramped-up production for Japanese automakers operating in China.
